No conversions recorded on one device type
Over the last 14 days, visits on one device type reached the last step often enough to expect a conversion, and none was recorded from it.
What was observed
Over the last 14 days, visitors on one device type — desktop, mobile or tablet — reached the last declared step, and no live browser conversion was recorded from that type, although the path's own rate made at least one likely.
A test on a laptop covers a desktop browser only, and many sites give mobile a different checkout template, payment sheet and scripts.
Visitors on one device type (desktop, mobile or tablet) reach the last step often enough that some should have converted, and none has. Complete the path on each device type and check that the conversion arrives.
When it is raised
Once a day, from real visitors' traffic over the last 14 days, weighed against the path's own conversion rate. A device type counts only when zero conversions from it would be improbable at that rate, so a fresh install is asked for nothing and a type that rarely reaches the last step is never asked for. Verification sessions and conversions only your server reports do not count. A conversion that declares no steps never raises it.
What to check
- Complete the path on a real phone, a tablet and a desktop, on a real network. An emulated viewport in desktop developer tools is still a desktop browser.
- If something fails on that device type, correct it there. The warning clears once a real visitor on that type converts.
Effect on verification
It warns. The install stays verified.
