TraceLog for agencies

Last updated Oct 15, 2026

One account for every client: a project per client, the client contact who sees only theirs, one shared session limit, and the portfolio.

An agency runs its clients from one TraceLog account. Each client is a project, and the account's plan covers them all. What Agency costs and what it carries are on pricing.

A project per client

Create one project per client site, each with its own conversion path, installation and alerts. Start with one client on Free; when more clients come, subscribe to Agency from Billing and add their projects to the same account. If your first client's store is on Shopify, write to info@tracelog.io and Agency is opened for you by hand.

One shared session limit

On Agency, every project shares one session limit, with unlimited projects. It is a limit of the account, not a price per client. Reaching it pauses nothing; going over it pauses alerts, answers to your questions and Analytics while TraceLog keeps capturing without sampling.

Inviting a client

Under the organization's Members, Invite someone with the role Client contact and the client's project. A client contact sees exactly one project, and never the portfolio or billing. The invitation grants nothing until the person accepts it, signed in as the address it names.

The portfolio

Projects shows which client projects need attention, in four groups: Needs attention, Not measuring yet, Recently recovered and No current attention. It shows no client's conversion rate, no ranking of one client against another and no score.

The weekly portfolio message

One weekly message covers the whole portfolio: what needs attention, what changed and what came back. It is on from the start for whoever creates the account's projects, and each person in the account turns it on for themselves under the organization's Notifications. An organization with more than one project receives it instead of the per-project digests, never as well as them, so nothing sends one weekly email per client.

What to show a client

When a number moves, record what the client changed on the alert's page. TraceLog puts what it observed afterwards beside it in time; the order alone establishes no cause, which is what makes it safe to show. TraceLog does not explain the move, rank the account or write the report.

If you cancel

The account returns to Free with its projects, under Free's limits. The portfolio stays: Free's cap stops you adding another project, never the ones you hold.
